How It All Started
Would you believe this all started with mealworms?
Like so many unexpected journeys, mine began during the lockdown days of COVID. I was raising ducks and chickens and couldn’t find mealworms anywhere — so I started growing my own. Sorting them turned out to be the real challenge, but I discovered a clever acrylic filter system with precision-cut slots… made using a laser. That was the moment everything changed.
I became fascinated with what laser machines could do — the precision, the potential, the creative freedom. Not long after, I bought my first laser and started pushing it (and my patience) to the limit. I learned to engrave on wood, metal, glass, acrylic, and leather, bringing designs to life with the kind of detail and care I’d always imagined.
Laser Inspired was born — not just as a shop, but as a way to create meaningful, personal, and beautiful things. What started as a one-person operation experimenting at night has grown into a full studio offering custom engraving services, ready-to-ship gifts, digital design files, and two distinct product lines of its own.
